A selection of fun creations.

Green Hills of Tyrol

A pipe band classic, this tune is one of the first ones I learned on the pipes. Shawn Aitken, from the Fergus Pipe Band, played harmony.

Take Five

Dave Brubeck composed some great charts. I’ve always been interested in music with non-standard time signatures... Blue Rondo à la Turk and Skip Step are two other favorites.

Highland Cathedral

One of my personal favorite tunes, performed as a duet with myself. I filmed this after having my pipes tuned by Jim McGillivray, I knew there’d never be a better time!

Social Rep Campaign

When my (now valedictorian) friend Mattie and I ran for social rep of BME’26, we knew that we needed to stay top of mind. What better way to do that than with explosions.

Red Rock Mountain

This ensemble piece was my favorite song I played in the Wind Ensemble in Grade 12, and I tried replicate part of it. While it may not be perfect, it was a great learning opportunity.

Carol of the Bells

This was an assignment for Grade 12 music under Ms. Sandi Chasson.

Fire in the Blood

I was introduced to this piece by Ms. Sandi Chasson, and was blown away. The skill needed to play this... I can’t fathom. I tried it at 40% of the speed then sped it up to their real tempo. The Black Dyke Band is phenomenal!

Abandoned Treasure

This was my first ever trombone compilation. I (evidently) had a lot of fun making this one.
